About me
Hi! I'm Roberta and I am an avid reader with a rather eclectic taste in literature (just like my mother!). I enjoy Christian literature—fiction and non-fiction—as well as cozy mysteries, historical fiction, stories about the power of friendship, and stories that make me laugh. I also love children’s literature! Reading stories aloud for young audiences is one of my favorite pastimes.
Prior to becoming an editor I worked for fifteen years as an Instructional Assistant in Special Education—Pre-K through post high school. I also enjoyed eleven years as a homeschool mom. I am a Christian and I’ve been studying the Bible for over thirty-five years.
I am a graduate of two courses by Edit Republic: The Art of Line Editing, and High-level Copyediting and Proofreading Pro. I am a stickler when it comes to correctness, consistency, and clarity in written work of all kinds. I can help to ensure the project you’ve labored over is presented as you intend—a published piece you can be proud of!

Help With My Memoir
When I ventured out in writing a memoir about our family’s journey in providing care for children and families in crisis through foster care, I asked Roberta if she would read it and give me her honest opinion.
